Happy 2013!!

Happy 2013 everyone!! I'm starting the new year off right and participating in A Lovely Year of Finishes.

I had a hard time picking out my first project to make and an even harder time picking out the fabrics =P
I finally decided on the Go Anywhere bag. I bought the pattern months ago and have yet to make one. I think it will make a great bag to tote around all of my smaller knitting project bags.

After sitting in front of my fabric cabinet for an hour (an hour!!), I picked out some Flea Market Fancy prints. I'll use the floral print for the outside, the gray seedlings for the outside pockets and the flower dots for the lining. I hope it turns out really cute!!

Are you going to join in the fun? You know you want to!! I've already dragged my friend, Suzee, into it since both of us seem to accumulate tons of patterns and then never make them. Go ahead and click the button above for all the details.

Before I start my bag, I have one knitting project that I have to finish. My Hummingbird socks have been on my needles since January 26, 2012!!

I only have two more pattern repeats on the foot and then the toe left to do.
I think I can manage that today :) I think...haha!!

And your knitting...awesome! I can't knit. =( I did some ruffle scarves for Christmas, but I don't really consider that true knitting. =)
